What is the worldview and methodology of Tawhid and its perspectives and applications in real-world issues and problems? For always, deep science and its epistemology be these in the physical or the social and economic domains, have looked for concepts in developing generalized systems of unity of knowledge and its induction of the socio-scientific and physical ontology with the resulting real-world applications. It does not matter from where the episteme of the imminent unity of knowledge and its induction of the world-system arises. This may come from the monotheistic origin of religion or from philosophy of science and its mathematical ramification

Yet such an episteme cannot arise from rationalism, which is a differentiated mode of thought with its concomitant applications. The intellectual pursuit of the field of inquiry in history, civilization, moral reconstruction and substantive meaning belongs to the contrasting fields of unity of knowledge and multiplicity of divided and opposing thoughts in rationalism. Yet paradoxically, rationalism prevails in all of received sciences.

Tawhid means the Qur’anic monotheistic law of unity of knowledge. As the divine monotheistic law, Tawhid explains the generality and details of the world-system and its particulars by its unique methodological worldview of unity of knowledge. Along with the Tawhidi methodology is studied its applications to issues and problems of moral reconstruction. The underlying methodology is one of organically unified relational world-system in unity of knowledge. Such an intellection and its formalism are based on deeply analytical concepts, formalism, and rigorous applications.

The field of moral reconstruction rests on the explanation and manifestation of the monotheistic law in its actions as the evolutionary learning worldview methodologically applied to the core of substantive understanding. The emanating knowledge and methodological worldview addresses all issues and problems within the domain of the wide field of valuations in ‘everything’. The methodological worldview and its application are thereby not restricted by religious constriction. It is a message for all and regarding ‘everything’. Scholarship only needs to decipher the investigative problems and issues as they arise. This appears in contrast to the field of rationalism with its dualism and multiplicity of differentiated thought.

Tawhid and World-System (TWS) website is associated with the Postgraduate Program in Islamic Economics and Finance, (IEF) in the Faculty of Economics, Trisakti University, Jakarta, Indonesia. It is devoted to the study of the methodological approach premised in the relational epistemology of unity of knowledge (Tawhid). This conceptual foundation of the Islamic methodological worldview is then followed by its applications to the unification of evolutionary learning dynamics in the world-system with the dynamics of organic system interaction and integration.

Specific areas of scholarly studies will include lectures given in useful forms to readers free of cost. Written materials will be available; online seminars will be conducted; and publications will be divulged to students and readers. The academic areas will extend over a vast range of multidisciplinary studies that arise from Tawhidi methodology and its applications. Individual teaching and research are promoted by experts of TWS. Ph.D. Degree in IEF are offered by Trisakti University, Jakarta, Indonesia. the length of study and independent research under supervision is three years of focused study on specified topics. Such topics can be jointly set by consultation between supervisors and students. Admission to degree programs is competitive. TWS promotes a multidisciplinary methodological objective.

Qur’anic, sunnah, and comparative Islamic studies are combined with a critical comparative examination of contemporary Islamic and Western thought. Mathematics, statistics, and philosophy of science are essential medium of intellection in TWS. The online delivery of programs will be done by a combination of live interaction to the full student group, and by individual email contact.
